The Government of Armenia approved the draft law “On the State Budget of the Republic of Armenia for 2027” at a Cabinet session. The legislative initiative will now be submitted to the National Assembly for consideration and debate.
Under the draft, state budget revenues for 2027 are projected at 3 trillion 603.8 billion drams, expenditures at 4 trillion 72 billion drams, and the deficit at 468.2 billion drams.
Of the total revenues, approximately 3 trillion 462.7 billion drams is expected to come from tax revenues and state duties. Official grants are projected at approximately 14.2 billion drams, while other revenues will total 126.9 billion drams.
According to the draft law, the budget deficit is planned to be financed from domestic sources, amounting to approximately 187.5 billion drams, and external sources, amounting to approximately 280.7 billion drams.
